How I'm Raising my Girls to be Lovely Little Ladies

Image
How I am Raising My Girls to be a Lovely Little Ladies (in this not so lovely world) Do you have little girls? Isn't is crazy scary sending them out into this crazy life we live these days? There innocent little gestures cannot even be appreciated because us “mama bears” have to be ready to pounce the second some creep looks at my 7 year old who could pass as 10-12yr old (and all natural, no makeup nothing like that) her sweet little mind just cannot wrap around why she can't walk away from me in dept stores because of all the evil people just waiting to “compliment” aka lure my gorgeous blonde hair blue eyed beauty to danger (i get chills thinking of all the human trafficking going on) & with her heart being just as gorgeous as the outer, she can't help but buy into the “sweetness cover up”, and my baby girl is just as gorgeous but she will only smile at you, she is in that shyness stage around strangers and I'm not mad about it one bit. Anyway, rais

Quick Guide to Rock the Holiday as a Bonus Momma

Image
The holidays are coming up quickly, and we are supposed to feel cheery right? How can one feel cheery when sometimes these supposedly good times get turned into nightmares by parts of the family... you blended and Bonus Mommas know what I'm talking about! Those particular family members that despite your tireless efforts to conform, still don't get it. They either buy one a ton of gifts and the other none or maybe one or they try to do it the deceiving way and give the "one" presents while visiting alone and play it off as "not a Christmas present". I don't have this problem anymore but I used to. In the beginning my grandparents would literally invite me and my girls over on a completely separate day then the original "gift giving" day, shower them with gifts that I would have to shameingly bring home and try to "hide" from my bonus son, when he would eventually see them I would feel so guilty and awful even though I wasn't

Is my Child Delibertly Disobeying or Is It Something Else

Image
Meet Paislee. My youngest of three children. She looks like an angel doesn't she? A sweet little blonde headed curly que. A voice so soft and humble it seems  she should have a halo above her sweet, prescious little head.... Hahaha sorry I just laughed so hard. This little seemingly " angel" is my most stubborn child out of the three. She is independent like I have never seen before! No joke. She's sweet but boy can she be sour! I will tell her one way and she will purposely do it differently. At first this made me go insane  (inside) it drove me up the wall!! Now I realize she dilibertly "disobeys" because she wants to try it her way. Yes that still sounds bad but it really is not. You see she is the most stubborn of my children but she is also the neatest, the one most willing to help, and the most organized- yes she really is even at 2 years old. She is a tad bit OCD i may add. She HAS to make sure that in everything she does she must have it ri

Ultimate Guide to Transforming from a Single Mom to a Bonus Mom with Ease

Image
Today, on most days,  you'll see me juggling three kids that all call me mommy in all of our day to day schedules, outings, and such. However not to many years ago I was right where you are: a Single mom to a beautiful cotton top babygirl. I was 19 when I had her and during my pregnancy months their were many times I was actually homeless, yes homeless. I would  bum my friends couches sometimes to have a place to sleep, other times I would sleep in my car. My sperm donor was just that. Soon as a actual baby was mentioned he was gone only did he come back in my life when he wanted to erupt a volcano of destruction in my life, which I being desperate for his "love" and "presence"-at the time, allowed him to too many times. Which always ended with me feeling more worthless, defeated, insecure, and lost than the time before. But anyway I made it, after several "no good" attempts at living arraingments (tell you that story another day) I settled in

I just know that's her mission. - she will be a HORRIBLE role model on my kid (like some of our own ‘girlfriends” aren't lol my EX partner is only trying to replace me as a mother! That woman will not Ever replace me(which leads to) or listen to her,(and then) or even be around her. Before ya know
